How long do CCHST programs take to complete?
Program lengths vary by field. Business programs, such as the Accounting Administrator + Internship, can be completed in under one year. Healthcare programs range from 28 to 72 weeks, depending on the program. Contact our admissions team for exact schedules and start dates.
When can I start? Do I have to wait until September?
No. Unlike many universities and community colleges, CCHST has multiple start dates throughout the year for most programs. When you are ready to begin your training, you don’t have to wait months to start.
Do CCHST programs include an internship or placement?
Yes, several programs include an internship component, including Accounting Administrator, Addictions & Mental Health Worker, Community Service & Mental Health Worker, and Medical Office Assistant. Internships give you real-world experience in your field before you graduate. Massage & Hydrotherapy students gain hands-on experience through our on-campus Student Massage Clinic, where they work with real clients under supervision.
Are classes in person or online?
Most CCHST programs are delivered in a hybrid format, combining online learning with in-person components at our Windsor campus. The Massage & Hydrotherapy program is offered fully in person, since hands-on skills training and supervised clinic practice are central to the program. Admissions
What are the admission requirements?
Admission requirements vary by program. In general, applicants need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or can qualify as a mature student.

How do I apply to CCHST?
The first step is to fill out our online application form. Once submitted, an Admissions Representative will contact you to walk you through the next steps, including a campus visit, financial planning support, and an Information Session. Can I visit the campus before applying?

Does CCHST accept international students?

Can I use OSAP at CCHST?
Yes. All CCHST programs are approved for OSAP funding. However, eligibility for OSAP is determined by OSAP policies and not all students may qualify. Students may be ineligible due to factors such as academic probation, restrictions on their OSAP file from previous study periods, or other eligibility requirements established by OSAP. Are there payment plans?
Yes. Students are not eligible for OSAP may still have other funding options available, including sponsorship through Better Jobs Ontario, WSIB funding, Indigenous band funding, employer funding, or payment plans with CCHST. Students are encouraged to speak with a financial aid advisor to explore the funding option that best meets their circumstances.

Yes. You may qualify for government retraining support such as Better Jobs Ontario, which can help cover tuition and living expenses for eligible applicants. Our Financial Aid Office can help you determine your eligibility and complete your application.
