About: We are currently seeking a Part-Time/Full-Time Office Assistant to join our surgical and medical Ophthalmology Practice. Our practice operates at a high pace, serving a diverse patient population. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and require a candidate who shares this commitment.

Responsibilities: As our Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:

Efficiently managing reception duties, including patient greetings and registrations.
Handling appointment scheduling and phone inquiries with professionalism.
Delivering excellent patient service and care.
Proficiently utilizing appointment and patient file software (Accuro).
Maintaining the highest level of accuracy in all testing procedures.
Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Physician.

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional multitasking capabilities.

Proficiency in computer skills, including the ability to learn new software and programs.
Experience: While experience in an optometric or ophthalmology office is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. We value the right attitude and potential over prior experience.

Working Arrangements: Due to the nature of the job, remote work is not an option for this position. The job will offer between 15-30 hours per week with a possibility of 30-40 hours per week. It commences as a part-time role, with the potential for advancement to a full-time position based on performance.
